I am all done with my concentration and it feels so good!

Im blogging finally

This is the vase that I made in class today. I have three more projects that I need to be on the greenware cart tomorrow! Im crossing my fingers everything will come together!

Coils, Coils, Coils

I am making another coil vase for one of my projects this month. So far i have been adding the coils smoothing out the outside and in the inside the coils are still visable. I am still deciding how I want finish this piece.

Second feb project

I am sad about not doing the woodfiring in two weekends but I am glad that we will be able to attend another one in april. I finally decided what my next project for this month is going to be. I am going to make a set of three cylinders that have been altered. They will have the same type of style my other altered pieces have but I want them to be more detailed.

concentration and this weekend

Pit fire take two this Sunday! please if you put anything in the pit we need you to help. On Saturday morning around 10 we are going to Emily's uncles for the pit fire and will probably be home around 7 or 8. I am excited to finally get everything fired.

 On another note I have been struggling with my concentration for awhile now and I am doing a lot of research and sketching to find out exactly what I want to do next. I'm going to start using the wheel and see where that takes me.

Finals and Pit fire

This saturday is the big pit fire at my house! I will being come home on saturday and then I have a fitting for the senior fashion show. So I think I am going to lite the pit around 4 on saturday and then it will be done between 10-12. I am going to have anyone who is putting pieces in the pit sign up for a shift during the final tomorrow. Also I want to dig the pit tomorrow that way it will take less time getting everything started on saturday. If anyone has questions please text,facebook, or ask me tomorrow.

Projects and Pit fire

I am getting nervous because I still have all three projects to complete before the end of the month! I am considering making another coil vase. I want it to be taller and look more like a cynlinder with a cool texture. I have planned a pit fire for Jan 29th so let me know if anyone wants to put a piece in!

Amy I have enjoyed being in the AP class so much this year. AP is my favorite class and it will not be the same without you! I really appreciate everything you have done for me over the last few years and I am going to miss you alot!
